Let me tell you - if you're looking for an absolutely gorgeous view, and a beautiful drive to get there, you should head into Gatineau Park, and head up to Champlain Look Out.
Ryan & I went there today after he told me about it last week. He had gone up with a buddy on their motorcycles, and he was excited to show me. So we packed a lunch and went up. Beautiful drive up - I'm sure it will be even more gorgeous in a couple of weeks when the leaves start changing colors!
